To the little one will not be exposed to inappropriate content. In today's article, we will tell you how you can set parental control on the device used by your child.
What is parental control?
Parental control is a feature that can be included in digital television services, computers and video games, as well as mobile devices. You can set up parental controls for apps and games, music, movies, series, and books. The main function is to limit or restrict children's access to content that can affect their behavior and emotional state on their mobile phone or tablet.
You can also set parental controls so that you can't download any apps from the Google Play Store or the AppyStore or look at your smartphone. You can set up parental control for apps and games, music, movies, series, and books, but how it works is different for each type of content.
You can set time limits regarding the duration of use of the phone, but also to see in real time the current location of your child or, better said, his phone.
How do you set parental controls on an Android phone?
If your little one uses an Android phone, the first step in setting up parental control is to make sure he has a Google account that is connected to your account, and for that you will use the Google Family Link application from your own phone.
If the child does not have an account, create one, and along the way you can add other children by tapping the "+" (plus) button in the upper right corner of the main screen. When you create a Google Account for your child using Family Link, you can set limits on how long your Android device is used.
You can also lock your child's device when it's bedtime, after he's used it for a certain amount of time, or when you think he needs to take a break. If you want to allow him to play a game that fascinates him, you can configure another user that you can only activate when the phone is used by the little one.
